Once upon a time there was a poor old man and his wife. They had eleven sons. They had no money for bread, butter, milk, cheese or any other food. The father had an idea – they would play football.
Dad sold a goat, bought two white balls and the boys started training. In the grass behind the house they practiced, ran, jumped and learned to kick the ball. They trained every day. After three years they started competing. First they competed against the home team. They won the first match, six- zero. They won the second match, scoring eight goals. They won the third match, scoring five goals. They won all the matches.
Everyone knew them and talked a lot about them. They invited them to play football in other places. They traveled for a long time by train. They traveled for three days. There they played a match and won. Then they traveled for two days by train. There they also played a match and won again. They visited many places and won everywhere. Then they arrived in another city. It was very hot there. Dad learned that the boys were in danger. Foreign players wanted to hurt the boys during the match – to break their arms and legs. Dad bought the boys inflatable rubber clothes. The foreigners hit and kicked the boys. They bounced off and flew ten meters away. The boys won. They scored nine goals. They won all the matches again.
Then they were invited to play football far overseas. They traveled there by big blue boat for a long time. People from all over the world came to watch the match. The boys played well, but then they made a mistake. They started to try harder and won the match 4:1. It was the first time they had a goal.
They were returning home across the sea and again sailed on a big ship. The ship hit a rock and started to sink. The boys and dad put on inflatable rubber clothes and swam home.
They were very happy that they had been saved, but they did not want to play football anymore.

A poor old man named Klapzuba had eleven sons. The father thought: “How will I feed all my sons?” Then he got a great idea: “I’ll make a football team from my sons!” Klapzuba went to town, sold a goat, bought two balls and the boys started training. Behind their house they practiced, ran, jumped and learned to kick the ball. They trained every day, they were tired, sweaty, but excited about football. Three years later, they started competing. First they competed against local players in the Czech Republic. They won the first match 6:0. The second match they won 8:0. The third match they won 5:0. They gradually won all the matches and were champions of the Czech Republic.
Everyone knew them, talked about them, read about them in the newspapers. Then they were invited to play football in Europe. They visited many countries and won everywhere. One day they came to Spain. And dad found out that the boys were in danger. The Spanish players wanted to hurt the boys during the match – to break their arms and legs. All the Klapzubs agreed: “What are we going to do?” They came up with the idea of buying inflatable rubber clothes. The Spanish players hit and kicked the boys, but they always bounced back and flew ten meters away. In the end, the boys won 9-0 again. They won all the matches everywhere in Europe again – they were European champions.
Then they invited them to play football far across the sea to Australia. They went there by a ship for a long time. People from all over the world came to watch this match. The boys played well, but they made mistakes. They started to try harder and in the end they won the match 4-1 – they became world champions. But it was the first time they had a goal. The boys were sad.
They were returning home across the sea and were sailing again on a big ship. A storm started at sea. The weather was very bad. There was a strong wind, it was raining, there was a storm, lightning and thunder. The ship hit a rock and started to sink. The boys and their father put on inflatable rubber clothes so that they wouldn’t drown. They were saved by another ship that was sailing by. That’s how they got back home.
They were very happy to be home, but they never played football again. They found other jobs and lived happily.
